TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Introduction

These terms and conditions set out the terms under which goods are sold by us through our website. These terms and conditions shall prevail over any documentation or communication outlined by Springfield Organics to the buyer; therefore we request reading the information outlined below carefully and ensure you understand before placing an order for goods from our website. If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions you will not be able to order goods through our website. The terms and conditions made on this page, along with any additional documentation are supplied in the English Language only.

1.1 Definition of terms

The use of our website; www.springfieldorganics.co.uk ("our website") and the purchase of products ("goods") from our website is a condition of your agreement with the following terms and conditions. References made as "we", "us" or "our" refers to Springfield Organics and references made as "you", "your" or "the buyer" refer to the customer using or purchasing from our website. The terms and conditions and the use of our website when making a sale is governed by English law and you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the English court. By confirming your order on our website you accept the terms and conditions outlined below.

3. Registration

To purchase from Springfield Organics you are required to register with Springfield Organics and set up an account. This account is not a credit account and requires payment at the checkout in order to receive your goods. In order to set up the account you must follow the instructions on the website. When registering you must ensure the details provided for the account registration are correct.

3.1 Age restriction

In order to register you must be over eighteen years of age. If purchasing on behalf of a business, the person must be over eighteen years of age.

4. Pricing, goods and availability

4.1 Pricing

Springfield poultry actively review the prices displayed on the website and are subject to change without prior notice. However, orders made before price alterations, will only pay the price of the goods displayed on the website at the time. Springfield Organics reserves the right to withdraw and void any mistakes or error prices displayed on the website at any time without notice or explanation. Springfield Organics does not accept liability for any mistakes or inaccuracies made on our website in regard to product information, including prices, descriptions and images.

4.2 Goods

Springfield Organics makes every effort to ensure the information provided on the website is a true representation of the goods available and correspond to the actual goods. However images of goods are for illustrative and representational purposes only. Springfield Organics recognises there may be variations between the image displayed and the goods received; this is due to the variable nature of the fresh produce. Images of our packaging are also used for representative purposes only, actual packaging may vary between vacuum packaging and polystyrene or otherwise. Due to the nature of the goods sold on our website, size and weights can vary. Goods may exceed the stated size or weight, but customers purchasing online will not be charged for additional weights, unless otherwise specified by Springfield. Pack sizes are approximates however minimum weights are always guaranteed.

4.3 Availability

Should you purchase products which are unavailable a full refund will be issued. Should the website indicate product availability, this should be treated as a guide and can be subject to change due to seasonal availability. Springfield Organics is a small scale business; therefore all our goods are subject to availability. We maintain the right to decline orders and withdraw discounts on the basis of availability without explanation.

5. Payment

Payment for all goods, inclusive of the delivery charge, purchased on our website must always be paid for in advance of receiving the goods. We cannot accept payment made on arrival of the goods due to the nature of our delivery service. Payment will be taken at the time of ordering goods online with any remaining balance charged when goods are dispatched. We accept the following payment methods: Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Delta and Visa affiliated debit and credit cards. Springfield Poultry only accepts orders made in GBP and does not accept or export orders internationally. Accepted orders are within the UK only. We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the internet. All credit card numbers are entered and held on a secure server and are never sent by email. Additionally, collections made from the farm can be paid with cash, cheque or card, with no minimum order quantity.

6. Delivery

All products ordered from our website shall be sent out directly to the customer in insulated boxes. The insulated boxes include ice packs in order to maintain a constant low temperature and freshness within the box for up to 45 hours. For orders outside of mainland UK, additional ice packs will be added to the order. All orders placed with us shall be sent via a national courier service, unless stated otherwise. Due to the fresh and perishable nature of the goods, all orders shall be received by the customer before 12pm, should orders arrive later than the specified time, please notify Springfield Organics. Goods sent out by Springfield Organics are only dispatched on weekdays. Should weekend delivery be required, an additional fee shall be charged. Delivery charges are made dependent upon the value of your order. Customers outside of mainland UK will incur an additional delivery charge and should expect delivery to take up to 3 days, for enquiries please contact Springfield Organics. For an additional delivery charge, specified time slot delivery can be organised, contact Springfield Organics for details. All customers will be informed via email of designated delivery date for goods ordered.

6.1 Leaving goods

All goods dispatched by Springfield Organics are perishable therefore unavailability to accept goods will result in the courier leaving goods at the specified address. Perishable goods cannot be returned to the depot and therefore the courier cannot re-attempt delivery. If you do not leave instructions for the courier driver the goods shall be left wherever the driver deems safest. Springfield Organics will not be held liable for the damage of goods left out and is left at the customer’s responsibility. You are responsible for organising suitable arrangements to receive your delivery and giving us the appropriate instructions. We will not accept any liability for damage to, or theft of your goods nor for any incidents which arise as a result of theft and damage to the goods left. You must inspect the goods on arrival and notify us promptly of any errors. Delivery will be deemed complete once we have delivered the goods to your specified address. 7. Cancellation rights

After the dispatch period, the customer cancellation period does not apply to the perishable goods. Your right to cancel orders applies up until dispatch. If you should attempt cancellation after the products have been dispatched you will still be charged for the product. If you should require rescheduling your goods delivery you have until 2pm the day before you are expecting delivery. Attempts to reschedule after this time will be declined.

7.1 Feedback and refund process

To continually improve our product and service processes we welcome all feedback. Our complaints procedure is fair, confidential and easy to use. If you wish to complain about any aspect of your dealings with us, please contact us using the details available on our website. Please include the order number, photos if necessary and relative reasoning. You will be contacted within 5 working days if you have a complaint. Springfield Organics will consider issuing a voucher, discount or will find an alternative solution.

8. Copyright notice

This site, content and intellectual property including text, illustrations, photos, logos, strap lines, social channels are protected by the copyright, designs and patents act 1988. Use, copying or printing of such content without explicit permission to reproduce is prohibited. The images on this are owned by Springfield Organics.  Any photos taken from the website without asked permission is liable for copyright infringement. Content taken from the website without permission or reference is also breaching Springfield Organics copyright. Should customers or clients wish to share content and intellectual property displayed on our website, contact with Springfield Organics must be made to grant permissions.

9. Information collection and privacy policy

Springfield Organics do not disclose buyer’s information to third parties. The collection of basic information; name, address, contact details on our website is to ensure the accuracy of dispatch of goods and a permanent record of customer orders. On the occasion customers wish to repeat orders we can organise this with the use of collected data. Springfield Organics opt in customers into direct marketing campaigns in order to receive discounts, special offers and information from us. If at any time the customer wishes to stop receiving emails, you may do so by unsubscribing to the mailing list.

10. Cookies

Springfield Organics uses cookies on this shopping site. The usage of cookies is for tracking purposes only. The cookies track all contents during the process of adding goods to your shopping cart and the movement of the customer around the site for analytical purposes.

11. Access and use of site

Use and access to the Springfield Organics website is free. However the ability to access our website is entirely your responsibility. The customer is required access to internet or other necessary equipment to carry out browsing and purchasing, the responsibility to organise this lies with the customer. Order must be made online via the website unless prior arrangements are made with Springfield Organics . We endeavour to supply the best possible service online to meet customer requirements; however we hold neither liability nor promise to ensure the website experience is fault free. As a small operating company, we aim to correct any faults as soon as possible, however without onsite support we cannot guarantee the speed in which errors are corrected.

12. Discount codes & competitions

12.1 Discount codes

Springfield Organics reserves the right to issue and withdraw discount codes without notice or explanation. Discount codes issued for use online cannot be redeemed via telephone, unless otherwise stated. All discount codes are subject to availability. Failure to properly redeem discount codes will not result in Springfield Organics issuing refunds. Successfully redeeming discount on our website is held at your responsibility.

12.2 Competitions

Should Springfield Organics run a competition via online, for example social media, or offline channels, for example at the farm location, the following terms apply. UK entrants only. Each person is eligible for one entry only. Notification of a successful competition will be communicated via the same channel as the competition is launched. By entering into Springfield Organic's competition you are accepting the right to publish personal information on our site or social channels. In addition to these basic terms, the competition will outline further conditions with instructions on how to enter, how to redeem discount, the prize details and the length of availability to apply. No purchase is necessary and prizes cannot be exchanged for a monetary alternative.
