At Springfield Poultry we rear all our organic free range chicken to Soil Association standards by ensuring all our organic poultry is reared in smaller flocks, to ensure a healthier and less stressed bird. By night the chickens are kept indoors, in sheds with natural ventilation and additional exit holes for greater access to the outdoors. But during daylight hours, all our organic and free range chicken have full access to our Herefordshire fields. As a result of these measures, we know all our chickens are reared to the highest possible farming standard.

We’re currently experiencing extremely high traffic through the website meaning that we’ve already been taking orders into May. In an attempt to help us take stock and organise the orders already placed, we’ve put a temporary “Out of Stock” note on every item.
We intend to constantly review this and plan to be back taking orders before the next scheduled week, which would have been mid-late April.
