Christmas is always a special time of year for us at Springfield Poultry, as it’s when our business was born. Springfield founders Rod & Beryl Mee first produced the Christmas Turkeys in 1959, when young Rodney was only 23. The Turkeys were produced as Christmas presents initially. But the positive feedback and word of mouth spread and as a result the demand grew yearly for a Springfield Organic Free Range Turkey. So due to this, Springfield Poultry began.
