Free Range Chicken Mince

Free Range Chicken Mince is a low fat and versatile alternative to beef mince, a brilliant healthy swap. Make a lean meal and use your Chicken mince in a variety of meals. An alternative chilli, bolognaise or even make your own lean chicken burgers.
All our Free Range Chicken Mince is made using Free Range diced Chicken legs. This is because the leg meat has a deeper flavour, which in turn increases the flavour of our mince.
By choosing Free Range Chicken from Springfield Poultry, you’re choosing to support high welfare British farming. This in turn improves the lifestyle of the meat you’re eating. Our Chickens are free to roam from dawn to dusk in our Herefordshire fields where they graze, forage and behave naturally as Chickens should.
Please note the chicken mince is supplied frozen and is tray wrapped.

Because our free range and organic birds are getting the best possible life, we can guarantee that the meat you receive will always be top quality and full of flavour. Sound good to you? You can read more about our guarantee here.
Homemade Chicken Burgers
Make sure that if your mince was delivered frozen, it has completely defrosted before handling and cooking.
Create a raw garlic paste by crushing fresh garlic and adding it to olive oil. Quantities dependent upon taste. Around 1 large garlic clove per 450g mince.
Season the chicken mince with salt, black pepper, the garlic paste and some fresh oregano.
Create burger patties by putting a small amount of cooking oil on your hands and shaping a handful of the prepared mine into patty shapes. Fry each side on a medium/high heat in a non-stick frying pan for a couple of minutes each side. Place them into the oven on a making tray for an additional 10 minutes to ensure the mince is cooked all the way through.
Serve your burger up in a brioche bun with some salad and sauces.
